Meeting fellow travellers, planning vacations to far away places. Vancouver is one of those must visit places for the scenery, the people and the coming winter Olympics in 2010. Grace and Ross decided to do the opposite, visiting Beijing and Shanghai, exploring different cultures across the pacific.

While in Shanghai, stop by 200 TaiKang Lu for an arty experience walking down a side lane and discover the cosy little cafes, shops and artists with the local shanghainese going about their daily lives. Next visit Aragula at Fuxing Xi Lu by YongFu Lu if you want a western bite for dinner that's reasonably priced before taking in some local jazz at JZ Club across the road from Aragula.
